Suzanne Malveaux
Malveaux, anchor of the midday edition of CNN Newsroom, has worked in CNN’s White House Unit for nearly a decade. During her tenure with CNN she has covered three presidents and such major stories as the War in Iraq, Hurricane Katrina and the economic crisis. She has received numerous awards, including a 1996 Emmy. Other honors include being named one of America’s Most Powerful Players Under 40 by Black Enterprise, an Outstanding Women in Marketing & Communications by Ebony, and2009 Journalist of the Year by Essence. She serves on the boards of the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and the Maryland Leadership Workshop.
