Crowned Miss North Carolina USA in 2010, Moffett traveled to countless public schools across the state and inspired thousands of students.  Before passing on her crown, she began The Queen’s Foundation, a nonprofit serving adolescent girls by focusing on character-building, life-skills and servant leadership.  So far this year, the organization has reached more than 125 girls and awarded more than a dozen scholarships.  A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and a former Leadership Path Manager for American Express Company, Moffett has earned several awards and recognitions for leadership and service. She is currently earning her Masters Degree in nonprofit management from High Point University.
