Associate Vice Chancellor for Strategic Alliances, School of Medicine, UNC Chapel

Dr. Dardess is also Senior Vice President for Strategic Communications for the Health Care System for UNC Chapel Hill. Her duties include developing and implementing interdisciplinary strategic partnerships with the private sector and other schools and centers at the university, as well as other colleges. She also communicates with the school’s stakeholders across the state. She joined the University in 1992 after 15 years with GlaxoSmithKline. In addition, she chairs the NC Board of Science and Technology, is a member of the NC Economic Development Board and is President of the GlaxoSmithKline Foundation. Her JD is from the University of Kansas School of Law.
