2011 Partnering Organizations

The Power of Working Together

There are many non-profit organizations across North Carolina whose mission is to improve the lives of today’s woman. And, there are hundreds of women in our state who are looking to become involved with these organizations—as a recipient of support and resources or as a volunteer.  See who connected!

The North Carolina Governor’s Conference for Women provided the perfect opportunity for connection with women through serving as a Partnering Organization.

As a Partnering Organization, there was no fee… all we required were co-promotional opportunities that were mutually beneficial. We promoted each organization here on our conference website and listed their name in our program at the conference. As a Partnering Organization, they also benefited from an easy-to- reach contact for pertinent updates about the conference!

Ways our partners promoted the conference included:

  • providing a link to the conference website on your organization’s website
  • announcing the NC Governor’s Conference for Women at an organization meeting or event
  • mailing or emailing conference invitation to your constituents
  • placing conference information in their organization’s newsletters
  • sharing their database for a one-time conference mailing or emailing
  • providing referrals to other community-based organizations that might be interested in learning more about the conference

For information on how you can become a Partnering Organization in the future, email info@ncwomensconference.com or click here to submit a contact form

*Because of budgetary reasons, we were unable to offer complimentary tickets to the conference to our Partnering Organizations. However, they could participate as an exhibitor or a table host at the discounted non-profit rate.
